Easter Egg Hunts for Great Causes!

EASTER, EASTER, EASTER!

Don't forget to come support the West Valley Animal Project this weekend! 
(see below for more details) 

If you didn't have enough plans already, don't miss supporting 
Youthlinc's Kenya team this Saturday night either! 


Come to Sugarhouse Park at 8pm this Saturday for their massive Easter Egg Hunt! 
There will be massive amounts of candy, gift cards and hot chocolate! 
You'll help Kenya Team's Microenterprise Committee raise funds for its many upcoming projects!

GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY (GYSD)
DEADLINE IN FRIDAY, MAR. 29!

Learn about a funding opportunity for youth-driven service projects! 
This application takes less than 5 MINUTES and is valued at $100 to get your projects off the ground!

Who: 
  • The Utah Federation for Youth will support service and service-learning projects through Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) from April 26-28, 2013.  
  • GYSD is the largest day of service in the world! 
  • Join the annual campaign to celebrate and mobilize millions of youth each year!
  • UFY is registering projects designed and inspired by local youth to better communities through education, community involvement, and outdoor recreation.


What: 
  • The Utah Federation for Youth will award $100 stipends to projects outlined and planned to directly impact the community’s needs to ensure successful completion of volunteer projects on Global Youth Service Day.


When: 
  • Register by THIS Friday, March 29 (deadline has been extended; please disregard deadlines and notification dates on the website.

We need volunteers to help out at the 
Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt at Liberty Park 
for the West Valley Animal Project Fundraiser! 
A van is available to transport volunteers to and from the event.  
The event runs 10 am - 3 pm.

South Salt Lake Volunteer Opportunity



Volunteer at the PAL Boxing Center!




Mentors:
  • Monday - Friday anytime 3:00-7:00 p.m. 
  • 1 day per week (1 hour per week)
  • Mentor with PAL youth,
  • Mandatory one year of commitment.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY THIS SATURDAY


HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PROJECT
 
We have our first build for spring this Saturday (March 9th)! 
We will meet in Shaw at 8:30am. 
We will carpool to the site and leave around 2pm. 
 
Bagels with be provided, so bring anything else you might want AND WATER
Dress appropriately as we will be outside working hard 
and the weather isn't supposed to be super amazing.

Items needed for India Dinner

The Westminster in India committee needs your help to promote 
education and literacy among children, especially girls, in India. 

To accomplish these goals, the Westminster in India would be grateful for 
donations of items for their auction on March 26th

The money generated from this auction will be used to 
support the projects in India as well as future fellowships for Westminster students.

Spring Fling: An Easter Egg Hunt for owners and their pets!

Come enjoy a great way to have fun with your pet and help raise money for a great cause! 




Saturday, March 30, 11 am-2 pm at Liberty Park (North East side)

Lots of fun, food and local vendors will be there to 
help us raise awareness about homeless animals. 


All funds go to the West Valley Animal Project. 
These funds help us provide care for homeless animals, 
in hopes of helping them find their forever homes!
